Pre-Registration Deadline
The final pre-registration deadline is November 7, 2008. All other registrations will be processed on-site.

Payment of Registration Fees
All presenters and participants must register for the Annual Scientific Meeting. Registrations cannot be processed without a payment. All payments must be made in US currency. Make checks payable to The Gerontological Society of America. You may also charge your registration fee to your Visa, MasterCard, or American Express by using the appropriate section of the print registration form or by registering online.
Registration Confirmation
Your registration will be confirmed by e-mail. Please notify GSA's Meetings Department at (202) 842-2088 if you do not receive your registration confirmation within four weeks of the date submitted or if you have other questions about your registration.
Your program, program abstracts, and badge may be picked up at a GSA registration booth on-site.
On-Site Registration To register on-site, visit one of GSA's registration booths in the Exhibit Hall area during open hours.

One-Day Registration
One-Day registration fees will be available on-site only at the Registration Desk. There is no advance registration for these categories.
GSA Member: $150
Non-Member: $230
Student Member: $45
Student Non-Member: $60
Transitional Member: $45
Spouse Member: $150
Emeritus Member: $60
Retired Senior (65 and older - non-member and nonprofessional): $60
Cancellation Policy
- The meeting registration fee will be non-refundable in the event of cancellation of the meeting due to circumstances beyond the control of The Gerontological Society of America.
- To cancel a meeting registration, written requests must be sent to the GSA Meetings Department by email at meetings@geron.org or by fax at (202) 842-2088. Refunds will be issued in accordance to the schedule listed below.
- Payments for continuing education credits, optional event tickets, and pre-conference workshops are non-refundable.
- No refunds will be granted after October 31, 2008. No exceptions will be made.
- Cancellations will be refunded no sooner than six weeks following the Annual Scientific Meeting.

Optional Events and Pre-Conference Workshops
Advance registration for the pre-conference workshops and optional events is recommended, as on-site registration will be on a space-available basis. All payments for events and workshops are nonrefundable.
Program Schedule and Program Abstracts
The Annual Scientific Meeting Program Schedule and the Annual Scientific Meeting Program Abstracts are published separately.
The Program Schedule will include the full schedule of events, presentations, and the names and affiliations of presenters. GSA members and non-members attending the Annual Scientific Meeting may pick up their program schedules at registration. The Program Schedule will also be available online.
Abstracts will be published under the title Program Abstracts, which will include all abstracts accepted for the meeting, along with the names and affiliations of presenters. Program abstracts will be distributed to all Annual Scientific Meeting participants at the meeting site. Program Abstracts will also be available online.
How to Register
ONLINE REGISTRATION
If you are a GSA Member, you will be asked to enter a login and password before registering. This is to ensure that you will receive the member registration prices. If you do not know your login and password, please contact Jessica Clark at jclark@geron.org or call 202-842-1275 x112. Please note that login and password information will only be given out to GSA members directly, not to administrative staff or individuals completing registration forms for others.
If you are a GSA Non-Member, you will be asked to create a profile. This will require that you designate a username and password as well as provide us with some basic contact and employment information.
FAX or MAIL REGISTRATION
Please note that there will be a $15 processing fee applied to all faxed and mailed registrations. To avoid this fee, please register online using the link above. The print form, for faxing and mailing, will be available for download here when registration opens.
